My 2 year old was prescribed amoxicillin for an ear infection. 3 doses a day every 8 hours. I’m not waking up my kid to give him a dose. How else can I dose him to clear up the infection?
Geneviève Duperron Pharmacist owner affiliated with Familiprix

Give the antibiotic as soon as he wakes up, at bedtime and the third dose in between (minimum 6 hours between 2 doses and maximum 12 hours)

The pharmacist is solely responsible for the answer.
