I have had Upper GI bleeding issues after the use of Anaprox so I have avoided using it orally. I like the effect it has on skeletal muscles and wondered if I could use the Naproxen suppository formulation for pain relief for my upcoming hernia repair. Would suppository form bypaas the GI side effects associated with the oral administration.

It could also be possible with a suppository even though the risk is smaller.  If the physician suggest it, use it the shortest possible period or take only acetaminophen and other pain killers
