I’ve been taking Vibryd for the past month with good results. Package says to avoid alcohol. What are the risks? I had the occasional drink while on other antidepressant with no problem. Am I able to partake in a little bit of wine at our Passover Seder safely?

Alcohol is considered as a depressant when taken on a regular basis which is the main reason for avoidance.  It can also increase some of Vybrid’s potential side  effects on your liver.  Taking one consumption on a spécial occasion won’t harm you though

The pharmacist is solely responsible for the answer.
