The holder of the first ticket drawn will win a prize, hereinafter referred to as the "Grand Prize", valued at $650,000, taxes included, including: the house, furnishings, all appliances, decorations, exterior furnishings and a cheque for $100,000 towards the purchase of a lot. Notary fees, certificate of location, site plans, building permit, municipal and school taxes, and transfer duties are at the winner's expense. The photo of the Maison Enfant Soleil is provided for information purposes only, and the final product may differ.

The first winner will have to choose between this "Grand Prize" and the sum of $400,000 in cash. The winner must inform Opération Enfant Soleil of his or her decision in writing no later than August 17, 2024. If the cash prize is chosen, the $400,000 will be awarded no later than 60 calendar days after the choice is made.

The holder of the second ticket drawn will win a prize, hereinafter referred to as the "Car Prize", a KIA EV6 GT 2024 valued at $95,000, including taxes, preparation and transportation. Any additional options are at the winner's expense, as are registration fees, insurance, gas and vehicle maintenance.

The runner-up will have to choose between this "Car Prize" and the $65,000 cash prize offered by La Force Kia. He or she must inform Opération Enfant Soleil of his or her decision in writing no later than August 17, 2024. If the cash prize is chosen, the $65,000 will be awarded no later than 60 calendar days after the choice is made.

Secondary prizes

After the "Grand Prize" and the "Car Prize", 27 secondary prizes will be drawn, with each winner receiving a prize in the following order:

  1. The holder of the 3rd ticket drawn will receive an InnovaSpa from Club Piscine Super Fitness, valued at $5,750 (taxes included);
  2. The following 2 winners will each receive a $1,000 gift card redeemable at Leon's Furniture;
  3. The following 2 winners will each receive a $1,000 cheque from RE/MAX;
  4. The following 8 winners will each receive a $250 gift card redeemable at Familiprix;
  5. The following 10 winners will each receive a $200 gift card, redeemable at Chaussures Pop ;
  6. The final 4 winners will each receive a $250 gift card, redeemable at Toujours Mikes.

Prizes are non-refundable, non-transferable, non-cashable and non-substitutable. Gift cards must be redeemed at the above-mentioned partners, in accordance with the terms and conditions applicable and indicated on the issuer's gift cards.

A total of 631,100 tickets, numbered 000001 to 631100, are available online and in paper format. The cost of a ticket is $12, or 12 tickets per $100, available in limited quantities. Single paper tickets are numbered from 000001 to 280000, while tickets sold in lots of 12 are numbered from 280001 to 294100. Tickets numbered 294101 to 631100 are sold online. Rights of distribution and sale of all raffle tickets are limited to persons authorized by Opération Enfant Soleil.

Prize draws and claims

The draws will take place under the supervision of Raymond Chabot Grant Thornton, on July 18, 2024, at Bonneville Industries located at 601, rue de l'Industrie, Belœil (Québec) J3G 0S5. The "Grand Prize" and "Car Prize" draws will be held between 6 a.m. and 9 a.m., live on TVA's Salut Bonjour program. The draws for the 27 secondary prizes will be held and recorded between 9 a.m. and 11 a.m., and published later in the day on Opération Enfant Soleil's Facebook page. All winners will be notified by telephone within 48 hours, and their names will be posted on the website www.maisonenfantsoleil.ca in Le Journal de Québec, Le Journal de Montréal and on Opération Enfant Soleil's Opération Enfant Soleil Facebook page.

To participate, you must be 18 years of age or older and purchase your ticket within the province of Quebec. Employees of Opération Enfant Soleil and persons living in their household are not eligible to participate in the draw. Winners consent, if required and without compensation, to the use of their name, photo, city of residence and/or any statement related to the prize, for publicity purposes related to this draw.

Winners must claim their prize by presenting their winning ticket and confirming their identity with two (2) pieces of identification and the completed claim form, no later than August 17, 2024, at Opération Enfant Soleil's head office located at 450, avenue Saint-Jean-Baptiste, Suite 10, Quebec City, Quebec G2E 6H5 (telephone: 1 877 683-2325). Should prizes remain unclaimed after this deadline, they will be reused for other Opération Enfant Soleil fundraising activities. Any situation requiring an external decision will be submitted to the Régie des alcools, des courses et des jeux for a final ruling.

Details of the "Grand Prix": Maison Enfant Soleil signed Bonneville 2024

The "Grand Prize", valued at $650,000, taxes included, includes: the house, furnishings, all appliances, decoration and an allowance of $100,000 for the land. The house includes a 7-foot-high basement covering the living area. If the winner chooses Maison Enfant Soleil, the $100,000 cheque for the land will be delivered within 3 weeks of the winner's final decision.

If the house is installed and finished more than 250 km from the town of Belœil, the winner will be required to pay $250 per kilometer to cover the extra cost of delivery and installation by Bonneville Homes. An additional amount may be charged to the winner if the chosen lot is located in a region underserved by Opération Enfant Soleil's construction partners.

Winner's obligations

Before beginning any work on the lot, the winner must obtain site plans, a certificate of location and a building permit, at his or her own expense. The lot must be ready for construction and served by municipal services. Notary fees, municipal and school taxes, and transfer duties are at the winner's expense.

Since the work will be carried out on the winner's land, he or she will need to obtain worksite insurance as well as civil liability insurance before, during and after the installation of the house on the foundation.

Home delivery and installation

Excavation and foundation work can begin as soon as the choice of land has been confirmed with Opération Enfant Soleil.

Foundation work and site excavation cannot be carried out between November1 and April1 due to the frost period. Weather conditions may cause unintentional delays to some services.

Bonneville Homes must be given at least six (6) months to deliver and install the modules. Opération Enfant Soleil will be responsible for assembly, joinery, window and membrane installation. Finishing work (floor connections, ceramics, joints and painting) will be carried out subsequently, under the responsibility of Opération Enfant Soleil, as seen and accepted during the site visit to Bonneville Homes.

Installation will begin when the lot is ready to receive the house. The construction schedule is subject to change based on weather conditions or other imponderables, or if additions are made to the original plans by the winner. Any additions will be at the winner's expense, including feasibility study and construction. 

Land

The Maison Enfant Soleil model must comply with the municipal bylaws in effect in the municipality where the site is located. Any modifications required to ensure compliance will be at the winner's expense.

The chosen lot must meet the standards set by Bonneville Homes to ensure safe delivery and installation of the home.

It must be served by public and municipal services (electricity, water supply, etc.). The site must be easily accessible to trucks transporting the modules, via a public road approved by the Ministère des Transports et de la Mobilité durable. Sloping and winding access roads may entail additional costs, which will be borne by the winner.

The following will be at the winner's expense, where applicable: wells, septic tanks and drainfields, levelling, land filling, backfill material other than excavated material, blasting, exceptional excavation and landscaping; any expenses incurred due to soil composition (tools, work or special expertise); drainage other than around the perimeter of the foundation, such as that between the ditch and the foundation; any transportation (excess soil, snow, etc.) and loading of material on another site; any additional support for unstable ground; any other element resulting from an event deemed uncontrollable by Bonneville Industries.) and loading of material on another site; any additional support for unstable ground; any other element resulting from an event deemed uncontrollable by Bonneville Industries.

Basement

The basement includes excavation, formwork, foundation, concrete slab insulation, two standard windows and a temporary staircase with handrail. Basement perimeter includes: minimal electricity and lighting, walls, insulation, gypsum.

Excluded: any division, finishing, other electricity (including a higher-voltage electrical panel), plumbing, heating, exterior siding.

Warranties

The Bonneville Maison Enfant Soleil is covered by the Bonneville Industries demonstration model warranty.

Opération Enfant Soleil undertakes to return the house to the same condition as seen during the inventory visit to the Bonneville Homes site.

The following will not be replaced or repaired: furniture, built-in furniture, fixtures, decorative elements, finishing elements or any other element as seen during the inventory visit.
