This medication contains an antihistamine. Typically, it is used for allergic rhinitis. It may also be used to treat urticaria. Its effects can be noticed within a few hours.
This medication is typically used only once a day. However, your doctor or pharmacist may have suggested a different schedule that is more appropriate for you. Important: Follow the instructions on the label. Do not use more of this product, or more often, than prescribed.
This medication should not be taken with food. It is best taken on an empty stomach, one hour before or 2 hours after a meal. To maximize its effectiveness, it is preferable to avoid fruits juice for at least 1 hour after taking the medication and within 2 hours before the next dose.
