Rinvoq 15mg LA-tablet
This medication is typically used for rheumatoid arthritis. It may also be used for psoriatic arthritis, for eczema, as well as for other uses. It requires a few weeks to take effect.
Instructions
This medication is typically used only once a day. However, your pharmacist may have suggested a different schedule that is more appropriate for you. Important: Follow the instructions on the label. Do not use more of this product, or more often, than prescribed.
This medication should be swallowed whole. It should not be split, crushed or chewed. It must be used regularly and continuously to maintain its beneficial effects. Be sure to keep an adequate supply on hand.
If you forget a dose and there is more than 10 hours left before the next dose, take immediately the missed dose. Do not double the next dose to catch up. This medication may be taken with or without food.
Avoid grapefruit and grapefruit juice during your treatment. Grapefruit can seriously affect how this medication works.
Side effects
In addition to its desired action, this medication may cause some side effects, notably:
- it could make you more prone to respiratory infections;
- it may increase the amount of cholesterol in your blood;
- WARNING: It may increase the risk of serious infections;
- it may cause nausea or, rarely, vomiting;
- it may cause a cough.

Storage
As with most medications, this product should be stored at room temperature. Store it in a secure location where it will not be exposed to excessive heat, moisture or direct sunlight. Additional Information
Taking this medication during pregnancy may be harmful for the baby. Women of childbearing potential should use an effective contraceptive method during treatment and for several weeks after the end of it. Ask your health care professional for details.
This agent may reduce your body's ability to fight infections. It is recommended that you contact your doctor if you experience signs of infections like fever and chills since some users have developed serious infections. Many vaccines must be avoided during your treatment - be sure to mention it to your health professionals.
Blood tests must be done regularly while using this medication. A blood test will indicate whether your treatment is having the desired effect.
