The 4th edition of the Gran Fondo raises $264,544 for sick children

The Gran Fondo virtual bike event, presented by Familiprix and Garneau, took place on Saturday, March 16, and raised $264,544 for Opération Enfant Soleil's Fonds Sport et santé durable. The Familiprix team, with their collective effort, raised a grand total of $86,706, once again ranking 1st for the team with the most donations! CONGRATULATIONS and thank you to all the pharmacists, pharmacy employees and head office staff who took time out of their busy weekends to pedal or contribute financially to the Gran Fondo. Your exceptional commitment to the cause of Opération Enfant Soleil helps Familiprix shine for our dedication to sick children.

This amazing challenge, inspired by Yann Gosselin-Gaudreault, Vice-President, Business and Professional Services at Familiprix, and Elliott Doyle, a pharmacist at Familiprix Linda Gaudreault and Yann Gosselin-Gaudreault in Alma, brought together 375 cyclists this year, all united for improving the health of sick children. Throughout the day, Opération Enfant Soleil spokespersons Camille Dg and Alain Dumas encouraged and accompanied the challenge's heroes, who pedalled between 75 and 300 km.
