If it isn’t yet available, let them know you’d love to have it!

Open your pet’s file

Visit the pharmacy lab to create a health record for your pet. 

This ensures safer, more personalized management of their medications.

Step 3

Get a prescription from your veterinarian

At your next visit, ask your vet for a prescription to be filled at the pharmacy. 

It might feel a bit unusual, but explain that this service gives you simpler, faster access to medications while staying under professional supervision.

Step 4

Bring the prescription to your pharmacist

Drop off the prescription at your Familiprix-affiliated pharmacy to have it prepared with care—just as you would for any other family member.

Add your pet’s profile to the Familiprix mobile app

Can I see my pet’s file in the Familiprix app?

Once your pet’s file has been created at the pharmacy, you can add your pet to the Familiprix mobile app to easily track renewals, treatment reminders, and prescriptions.

How do I ask my veterinarian for a prescription for my pet?

Simply mention that you’d like to have the prescription filled at the pharmacy to make follow-ups easier. You can also ask if your vet can send the prescription directly to your pharmacy by fax to simplify the process.0

Can all pet medications be provided at the pharmacy?

Most medications prescribed by veterinarians can be prepared or ordered by your pharmacist.
