Lyme disease: Starting a preventative treatment

Lyme disease is a disease transmitted by deer ticks. If you think you have been bitten by this insect during outdoor activities, your pharmacist can assess your situation and prescribe the appropriate treatment to prevent the disease, if necessary. In addition, they will take time to answer your questions to reassure you and advise you about the methods of prevention.
You must already have received a prescription for this condition within the past 2 years. If the prescription comes from another pharmacy, make sure you have proof of your prescription (ex.: the prescription label).
