Thrush

The use of corticosteroid inhalers can promote the growth of fungi in the mouth (thrush). Thrush appears as whitish plaques on the tongue, palate and cheeks. A pharmacist will give you advice to prevent the appearance of these plaques and may prescribe treatment under certain conditions to help you get rid of thrush.
